Pastor Donald M. McFadden was born in Chicago, Illinois.  He attended John Marshall High School and graduated in 1971.  After high school, he attended Illinois State University where he met his wife, Sharon.  To that union, five children were born:  Wendell, Tiffany, Donald, Jr., Talitha and Terri.

Donald was a member of Mt. Zion First Holy Miracle Missionary Baptist Church, when he received his call to ministry in 1985 and received his license as a Baptist minister in 1986.  He recognized the seriousness of his call to ministry and began his Christian educational studies in 1986 at Chicago Baptist Institute and was ordained in 1987.

Reverend McFadden received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Sciences from National Louis University and pursued Master’s level studies in Divinity at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary.

In December of 1992, Reverend McFadden was elected Pastor of Saint Joseph Missionary Baptist Church.  He was installed in
March of 1993 and continues to faithfully serve the membership.

Pastor McFadden is a committed spiritual cultivator and lives his sermons as an example to his parishioners and the surrounding community.
